Rapid Personnel Manager
As the highlight of the fabulous YENM event that we participated in, was a a pitching competition. It featured two contestant groups, Swedish and Finnish entrepreneurs. Pitching about the growing business with Molnix Rapid Personnel Manager, Molnix won the competition for the Finnish group. We are so happy about this!

Backup
I started my first business with offering a backup solution. This was back in year 2000, using Bacula and rsync. Ever since, I have been involved in providing backup solutions, and developing extensions to them. Our current business offers both BackupPC and UrBackup. Furthermore, our ownCloud and Nextcloud services have some very nifty aspects that are applicable to backup contexts.
With the increasing focus on cloud solutions and scalability, I find there is a gap in the open source backup offerings. Cloud suite
You can now work on documents with your colleagues in real time in Molnix Nextcloud. This has been made possible by the Collabora Online app, which is the cloud version of LibreOffice. Editing documents is now as easy as clicking on them. This is a huge feature addition to our cloud suite. Hopefully you are as excited about it as we are!
Backup
As one of our key offerings, BackupPC is both a service that we sell and a tool that we use internally. To give something back to the open source project, I have participated in the BackupPC community for a long time. Read more “BackupPC version 4 in development allows for better scaling”
Rapid Personnel Manager
We are happy to announce the release of Rapid Personnel Manager version 5.1! This is a point release that does not add any new functionality, but improves on existing features.

Cloud suite
We are happy to announce that Molnix now provides Nextcloud 11. This is a seamless replacement for ownCloud. With the migration there are also many updates. Read more “Molnix ownCloud upgraded and migrated to Nextcloud 11!”
Backup
UrBackup is now part of our products and services portfolio. It makes a great addition, since it has excellent support for Windows platforms, and is very easy to use.
