The sixth Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW), co-chaired by United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), provides a unique forum for humanitarian networks and partnerships to meet and address key humanitarian issues. HNPW 2020 took place at the International Conference Centre (CICG) in Geneva on the first week of February. Read on for more.
This year, about 2,300 people visited the CICG to attend more than 250 official sessions, numerous side events and the Exhibition Area. Molnix was present there like a year ago.
We were participating the event as a member of “Finnish delegation” which consists of ministries, NGO, academia and private sector.
The week gives a huge opportunity to meet humanitarians from all over the world and have great conversations. There were sessions concerning Emergency Medical Teams, Logistics, Aviation, Climate change etc. etc. Some groups held their internal private meetings as well.
Molnix RPM got some attention and a few demo instances were opened during the week.
