The #MeToo campaign and the recent news on sexual misconduct in different organizations opened the lid on a reality that is not often spoken about in the aid community.
It has meant a hit to the reputation and donations to the humanitarian sector and a wake up call to address the failings. In the meantime, there are also many good ideas on how to remedy the situation.

We are happy to announce the release of Rapid Personnel Manager version 6.0! This is a major release which adds new functionality in addition to the usual improvements. Version 6.0 is nothing short of a huge update, and has been in the works for several months.
As a service provider, Molnix acts as a processor in terms of GDPR. Although we are not carrying out data handling by ourself, Molnix is still deemed to be a processor because we provide cloud services for personnel management.
What are the requirements set for a processor? In this post I will concentrate in the first paragraph of the article 28 of the Regulation. To quote article 28, “the controller shall use only processors providing sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in such a manner that processing will meet the requirements of this Regulation and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject.” Read more “GDPR secure personnel management”
It has been a year since migrating to Nextcloud, and it has been a great year indeed. We are happy to announce that Molnix Nextcloud is now up to version 13. That is two major releases within a year. Despite the rapid speed of development and introduction of new features, stability has only improved since the ownCloud days. Recently, we created a portal management system for Finnish Red Cross. We agreed to deliver the project in less than 3 weeks in order to help Finnish Red Cross to showcase the system in Educa fair.
